Belgian designer Raf Simons is experienced in creating collections for heritage brands. In 2012, he departed his role as artistic director at Jil Sander, and was shortly thereafter appointed artistic director of Dior. Throughout his varied tenures, Simons has maintained a studio based in Antwerp where he continues to design his eponymous men’s wear label. In 2015, Simons designed his last collection for Dior after a three-and-a-half year collaboration. In August 2016, Simons officially announced that he would take on a new role as chief creative officer of Calvin Klein.
