Barnes point

This is a point made by people living in Ontario more than ten thousand years ago. This point has a flake removed from the bottom to the mid-section of the point, creating what is called a fluted point. The distinctive outflared ears at the base make it a Barnes type of point. These points were attached to spears for hunting large game like caribou.
