A tightly woven basket with flat lid featuring a repeating lizard motif on the body in bi-colored plant fiber. The body of the basket is narrow at the base, gradually widening towards the lid. The lid has a small woven loop at the top and a five part geometric pattern to creat a swirl-like motif. Baskets made by Tohono O'odham people are made from natural fibers from Yucca, Beargrass, and Devil's Claw.
