To celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Battle of Britain, HRH The Prince of Wales, patron of the Battle of Britain Fighter Association, commissioned the series of drawings by alumni and faculty of the Royal Drawing School.
Clara Drummond studied Modern Languages at Newnham College Cambridge after which she studied life drawing at the L’Accademia Di Belle Arti. She graduated in 2001 and moved to London to work as an artist’s assistant for portrait painter Jonathan Yeo and study on The Drawing Year. She was the first prize winner of the BP Portrait Award in 2016.
