Bavarian officer's Model 1910 field tunic for a Leutnant (Lieutenant) in the 9th Royal Bavarian Field Artillery. On the 9th of August, the 9th Bavarian Field Artillery, as part of the 2nd Bavarian Division, reached Badonviller in northeastern France. It engaged in battle at Gosselming (Lorraine region) on August 20. Advancing to Xaffevillers (Lorraine region) on September 7, the Division later moved to Perrone, France and was in many battles in that area until the end of 1914.
