Bazaar Alley from Tashqurghan, Afghanistan

This reconstruction of a bazaar alley from Tashqurghan (today: Kholm), built around 1850, includes original building components and inventory and serves as a reminder of the original’s historico-cultural meaning. The original was destroyed in bomb raids at the beginning of the 1980s.
