A six-paneled domed beaded hat or cap of Northeast American Indian origin. It has 6 alternating triangular red & black or navy blue felt panels, and has been beaded a repeating floral pattern of a large disk & leaf in variant colors. A wavy band of variant colors surrounds the entire cap above the rim. Most of glass beads are the very smallest size. Inside, it is lined with additional cloth & paper layers & finished with floral patterned light green silk - the last of which is badly frayed.
