The Beauchamp Tower is said to contain more than 90 examples of graffiti left by prisoners held at the Tower of London in the early modern period. This drawing of c.1885 records the locations of the graffiti on the first floor. The elevations, labelled A to F, show the positions of graffiti as grey polygons on the wall surfaces, with the locations marked in red on the corresponding plan.
