A C. Bechstein piano from Vaskino, the estate of the Semenkovich family. Anton Pavlovich often visited his neighbors and listened to Evgenia Mikhailovna, the lady of the house, play the piano. Chekhov took his guests to Vaskino to listen to Beethoven’s works.
