Jo Nketiah's poems were presented in an exhibition titled 'Womanning' at the Nubuke Foundation in 2020. The poems reflect the sense that the personal is politics. Of the body. Of home. Of belonging. Of Existence.These poems are the products of an imagined freedom or alternative existences. The placeness of these poems is trust. Jo Nketiah is a writer whose writings are inspired by everyday happenings and observations. Jo’s works cut across many genre including poetry, prose, short stories, and screenplays. She wrote the screenplay for ‘HALF A SONG TO SING’ and co-wrote ‘AT SEVEN’.
