Becquerel : plaster medallion

Son of Antoine Becquerel (X 1806; 1788-1878) and father of Henri Becquerel (X 1872; 1852-1908), although received at Polytechnique Edmond Becquerel does not join this school. Following the creation of the École Pratique des Hautes Etudes, he became head of the Museum's physics research laboratory.
