Before getting on the Astrovan for the ride to Launch Pad 39A, the STS-123 crew stops to acknowledge well-wishers. The crew will make a record-breaking 16-day mission to the International Space Station. On STS-123, Endeavour and its crew will deliver the first section of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency's Kibo laboratory and the Canadian Space Agency's two-armed robotic system, Dextre.
