Museo Cerralbo
MADRID, Spain

Incomplete cooking pot belonging to the Geometrical Mottle style. It comes from the 1895 excavations, financed by the Marquis of Cerralbo, in the Cuesta de la Reina necropolis (Ciempozuelos, Madrid), whose repercussion and importance gave name to a decorative style of the bell-shaped vases typical of the first Bronze Age in the Iberian Peninsula.
