Bells of the carillon of the South Tower by Willelm Witlockx, one of the most respected bell-founders in Antwerp. Originaly the South carillon had 46 bells and the North carillon 49. The two instruments are the largest surviving 18th century carillons in the world. Each of them covers the range of four octaves, thus considered “concert carillons”.
