Medium Sized Belt With Hunting Scene. This belt is composed of three fragments. Missing portions between the fragments were completed by taking a mould from the preserved parts of the belt and one single piece was reduced. The outer border is perforated with small string holes with short gaps between them. The decoration surface of a hunting scene is delimited by two bands of embossed dots in the middle. The figures on the decoration surface proceed toward each end from the center of the belt, in three rows of similar type, one on top of the other. Palmette and diamond-shaped rosettes are placed alternately between the figures. Lions, bulls and mountain goats are depicted running. Human-headed, bird-bodied mythological creatures shooting arrows are depicted walking. Lion-bodied, bird-winged and human-headed mythological creatures are depicted running. There are two separate panels at the right end of the belt. The inner panel is horizontal while the outer panel is vertical in orientation. Both panels are delimited by palmette rosettes on the inside. A horseman in a walking pose is depicted on the inner panel. The horseman has military equipment such as shields, quivers and spears. A running lion figure is placed at the top and bottom part of the outer panel. A lion-bodied, bird-winged and human-headed mythological creature is in the middle.
