Ben Uri Statement on Art & the Immigration Debate

Of the 1,300 works in the Ben Uri Collection 67% consists of works by émigré artists from countries including Germany, Russia, Poland, USA and Israel. At the Ben Uri Gallery & Museum it is our firm belief that although many of the artists represented in our Collection may have been born far away from their adopted home, they can be considered as British artists and we, like museums across the country, are proud to collect and celebrate them as such.
