“Although we do not profess any information whatever with respect to the transformations of this insect, or its habits; and although it was given to us mutilated in many essential parts, still we cannot resist the pleasure of presenting to our readers a depiction of such a truly magnificent and uniques species of our Lepidoptera.... Captain Perry has very appropriately given to us a view of the entrance to the harbour of Port Macquarie.
