Sextant, brass, and box, made by Berge, London, England 1800 - 1820. Brass sextant with silvered vernier scale, signed on central bar. 60 deg arc on bottom with calibrations. Moving alidade carries small mirror at top, bottom moves across scale. One arm has sighting telescope, other has fixed mirror. Signed on central bar "Berge London, late Ramsden", with the opus number "1787".
