Berry Pomeroy Castle, Berry Pomeroy, Devon

The remains of Berry Pomeroy Castle feature the ruins of a medieval castle and an Elizabethan house. The castle dates from circa 1300. In the 16th century, the castle passed to Sir Edward Seymour who built a large house within the castle walls.
