Waist-length portrait of Texas Rangers pitcher Bert Blyleven taken by baseball card photographer Doug McWilliams before a twi-night double header at Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum on June 29, 1977. Depicts Blyleven from the back posing as if he is pitching out of the stretch. He wears a road uniform with his name and uniform number (#28) visible on the back of his jersey and an arm band (black across the number 4) on his sleeve in memory of teammate Danny Thompson.

Blyleven selected this image to illustrate postcards that he autographed and sent to baseball fans in response to fan mail.

Forms part of the Doug McWilliams' player portrait collection at the National Baseball Hall of Fame Library.
