David d'Angers is a French sculptor and engraver-medalist. In the 1830s, he sculpted a large series of medallion portraits of contemporary personalities in which he applied, on an aesthetic level, the principles of phrenology. Handed over by the mayor of Angers to the major of the class of 1950. Lead seal affixed in the plaster "Musée des Beaux-arts Angers Molding workshop".
