Besamim tin

At the end of Shabbat, the besamim tin filled with fragrant spices is passed around to take a piece of the festive day into everyday life with its special fragrance. Any vessel, no matter how simple, can serve as a besamim vessel, but ornately crafted tins made especially for this purpose - here in the shape of a tower - can also be used.
