Best Quality Daughter is the creation of Chef Jennifer Hwa Dobbertin who wanted to address the lack of Asian-American female chefs in South Texas. Chef Dobbertin is a second-generation Chinese American whose restaurant is a reflection of the travels she has experienced and the comfort food of her youth.
