Moore Park, Australia

This Australian honour cap belonged to H.A. Judd, who played five Test matches for Australia between 1903 and 1905. The cap is made up of alternating dark blue and maroon segments, representing both New South Wales and Queensland at a time when a national colour had yet to be adopted. It features gold trim and a gold tassel, with "1903" embroidered in gold thread on the visor, "1904" on a blue panel, and "1905" on a maroon panel. A large gold-embroidered "A" is displayed on the front panel, marking it as an Australian cap.
