This Shelby bike typifies the cruiser bikes popular with kids growing up in the suburbs in the middle of the 20th century. The Shelby Cycle Company of Shelby, Ohio, made bikes under its own name but also for such retailers as Montgomery Ward, Spiegel, Firestone, and Goodyear.
