Big Skull, Big Teeth

A 3-foot-skull studded with 3-inch-long serrated teeth made this large carnivore a major threat. Some evidence suggests that Allosaurus could swallow huge chunks of flesh, much like monitor lizards and snakes that hunt big prey do today.
