The stage - as Stanisław Wyspiański wrote in Liberation - is "twenty steps in width and length", and the height of the space above the stage is about 10 meters. The walls are painted black and the floor is covered with dark wood planks. The stage from the audience is surrounded by a wide, gilded frame. In its upper, central part, the coat of arms of Krakow is placed, followed by a fresco imitating a decorative curtain.
