Big Talbot Island

BigTalbot Island is both a State Park and a Natural Preserve located in the north-eastern part of Florida. Connected to a chain of small islands along the Atlantic coastal region, it is a haven for birdwatchers. The artist captured a view of a group of "Roseate Spoonbills," the only kind found in the Americas, beautiful pink birds feeding in the shallow waters of a marsh.
