Bimbo aims to recreate the way in which black people have historically been represented. Considered one of the great proponents of European urban art, Hoppek maintains an intimate connection with the margin and dissidence. Through the appropriation of racist and misogynist imagery, Boris Hoppek addresses in his works the violence, sexualisation and oppression that society exercises over certain minorities.
