  • Details: WOOL – Covilhã Urban Art Festival, that merged in 2011 in Covilhã, for various reasons beyond our control, didn’t get more support or funding for a second edition, so obviously we searched for other geographies, new projects and new formats. The first place that welcome us was LXFactory in Lisbon (as Rua Rodrigues Faria, 103 – www.lxfactory.com), undeniably the most creative and artistic center of the capital, which was installed in an old flourmill and later printer industry, a place filled with old and gray facades. For the 3rd edition of WOOL ON TOUR we decided to make a 'call for artists' and the elected proposal arrived us from Madrid (Spain), by Mr. Trazo.
  • Biography: Rural roots, Mr. Trazo, moved to the city to acquire a solid background behind which serves as a graphic designer and illustrator, a profession which combines with his deepest expressed through street art and study. Since 2012 his work has been exhibited in notable galleries in cities such as Madrid, Valencia, Barcelona, Tenerife, Ibiza and London. he has always had a need to be busy creating things. He wrote his first tags and graffiti in his time as a teenager against the anonymity of being one among the social mass solution. This made him discover the power and effectiveness of the street as an artistic medium, which then explode in a more intellectual form thus ceasing production of non-conceptual, graffiti vandalism and unruly. The graffiti or street art in general have always provoked in him a positive sense of self-realization. His personal and conceptual evolution will show that he doesn't paint or create for others, but for himself. He 's his first and most important viewer; he's the one who must be satisfied and he doesn't seek for others viewers approval.
