Bird and snake vessel

A strriup spouted vessel in dark reddish orange slip in the form of a bird probably an eagle grappling an entwined snake with its beak. The snake sculpted in high relief is coloured with dark reddish brown and dark cream colour. As a naturalistic portrayal of the theme of nature the eagke is shown holding the snake in its beak and also with both its claws. Both the animal figures are shown in relief in a very stylized form.
