A distinctive feature of Piotr Lutyński's works is combining natural materials, such as birds' eggs, grass, feathers, stones, insects and wax with ready-made objects and abstract painting. The Birds Column triptych is consisnent with the distinctive style of Lutyński's painting and is a continuation of the project initiated by the 2003 exhibition in Bunkier Sztuki. The artist alludes to the symbolic meaning of numbers by tripling the elements of the painting. His work has the form of a triptych with hinged movable wings painted on both sides. The geometric composition is “animated” by three illusionistc painted birds and three eggs have been placed in its central part.
