Projeto Portinari
Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Composition in the earthy tones (predominant), green, orange, gray, red and white. Smooth and thick texture. Moorhen Angola hanging upside down across almost the entire height of the composition. Narrow dark band crosses the upper limit of support on which hangs a chicken d'Angola secured by the feet, in the foreground, a surreal space. The bird's profile to the right, the body is represented in gray and earthy tones with small light spots white head shown with thick texture, and red beak. In the distance, field lanscape in tone reddish earthy looking to the left, an orange tree loaded with fruit rounded crown and a fallen orange on the floor. To the right, a wizened coconut and center, a path cuts the composition perpendicular to find the hills that cross the horizon. Fund lighter reddish earthy in "degrade".
