This mural panel depicts the story of the Lord Buddha. Queen Maya gives birth to Siddhartha Gautama, later known as the Lord Buddha, whilst picking a blossom from the Sala Tree Forest in Lumpini. Following his birth, Gods Indra and Brahma shield Lord Buddha with a parasol as he takes his first steps.
