Zbigniew Oleśnicki, Dębno coat of arms (1389-1455) - the bishop of Kraków from 1423, from 1449 the first cardinal of Polish nationality, advisor to Władysław II Jagiełło and Władysław III of Varna (according to the seal). The graphics come from a collection of woodcuts based on sketches by Jan Matejko. The publisher of the collection was the Warsaw printing house of Salomon Lewental, employing engravers: Józef Holewiński, Aleksander Tadeusz Regulski and Jan Styfi.
