Black Pond

The years 1904-1906 were a period of frequent trips to the Tatra Mountains for Leon Wyczółkowski, from which he brought back both works and inspiration for his graphics. It was also a time of his intense experimentation in various graphic techniques. The fruit of these interests is shown in Wyczółkowski's collection of prints "Tatra Mountains. Eight aquatints" published in 1906.
