Bloodie Eye Contact - Asia Bey

Bloodie Eye Contact is a series of personal works designed by Pittsburgh based artist, Asia Bey, who was awarded an Artist Opportunity Grant through the Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council.

Inspired by trauma, humor, and romance, she uses comic work, sculpture and multi-media illustration to deconstruct + reconstruct + expand + explore the identity in response to the everyday expectation to be immediately digestible.

Maybe you're a soft woman. Maybe you're a holy demon. Maybe you're a brat or a queen.
