Blue-and-white porcelain with landscape, Izushi ware

Chinese figures standing on frozen water in snowy landscape are depicted in relief inside a blue-and-white window surrounded by clouds. This is a very interesting example showing features of pottery oriented toward exporting to the west during the Meiji era.
