Blue sleeveless tunic, Cantonese opera costume component

This sleeveless tunic, embellished with sequins and bugle beads, is part of a blue Cantonese opera costume. A large lotus motif in pink and silver sequins and bugle beads is centred on both the front and back of the vest. The upper portion of the tunic is embellished with a diagonal stripe pattern in silver bugle beads. The neck and arm openings are edged with sequin bands and stars. The bottom hem of the tunic is embellished with a mountain and wave motif, again in pink and silver sequins and bugle beads.
