'Boar' sculpture, The Water Gardens, Civic Walk, Harlow, Essex

'Boar' was designed by the sculptor Dame Elisabeth Frink. The 1957 original was a concrete sculpture, which was sited at the Bush Fair shopping precinct. Weathering and vadalism resulted in it being recast in bronze in 1970. It was resited at the Water Gardens in 1989.
