The year 1998 saw the introduction of a new twist on trivia games. Brain-o-matic game comes with a battery-powered plastic "brain" which chooses the category of question for the player. And the game attempts to breach the age barrier--a problem in trivia games--by including three levels of difficulty on every question card. Various board setbacks, such as "brain freeze--lose a turn" carry brain themes.
