Throughout the history of board game manufacture in America, game companies produce games that are related to events and trends in popular culture. The Casper the Friendly Ghost game from Milton Bradley is a good example of this. Casper debuted with Paramount Pictures, but was purchase by Harvey Comics in 1957, and became a multi-media property--comics and cartoons. This board game appeared in 1959. Interestingly, the game is just another version of Parcheesi.
