Board game:Formula D

A contemporary strategy-based take on the classic race game, Formula D combines elements of both game types for a new experience. The game won several awards in its earlier European versions, including the 2008 Lucca Games Best Family Game and several Golden Geek awards on the Website BoardGameGeek. Players control much more than simple racing moves as they allow for drafting, different gear selection (controlled by multi-sided dice) and engine problems. They may increase potential powers by taking risks, similar to other strategy games. Formula D is the US version, now available in multiple editions and with several expansions.
