Board game:Game of Hare and Hounds

McLoughlin Brothers of New York produced the strategy game "Game of Hare and Hounds" in 1901. Strategy games such as this utilize both the "hunter" game pieces and the "hunted" (hares and hounds in this example.) Usually either player may trap the hunted playing piece of the opposing player. Clever and exciting box cover imagery helped sell games such as this.
