Board game:Game of The Diamond Heart

McLoughlin's 1903 board game, "The Diamond Heart," features a somewhat unusual box cover design. Doubtless intended to appeal mainly to little girls, the game is a typical puzzle and capture game with a decorative board. The image of a queen or princess with a baby, and a surprised maid nearby does not recall any major fairy tale or classic story. But it is certainly a romatic image.
