Board game:Game of the Hunting Match

R. Bliss Manufacturing Co.'s "Game of Hunting Match" demonstrates a good example of a board game from 1891. Obviously meant to appeal to little boys at a time when hunting for sport was much more common in America, the game carries hunting graphics on its box cover. Sadly, the instructions have not survived. One side of the two-sided board features a target, and two sharp darts are included in the game equipment. Likely some form of shooting won the game.
