Game manufacturers often made little modifications or changes to otherwise familiar classic games. In 1889 McLoughlin Brothers altered the game Parcheesi and named their creation "Yuneek." Players advance by means of drawing cards from a deck, rather than throwing dice. And several other complicated rules added to this game's method of play. Yuneek likely appealed more to older children and adults.
