Board game manufacturers often made combination games in which the board allowed for the play of several different games. Consumers got more games for their money. This McLoughlin Brothers example shows a simple childrens game based on the fairy tale "The Three Bears," on one side of the board. The other side features a simplified checkerboard game, perhaps McLoughlin's version of Milton Bradley's Checkered Game of Life.
