What to do when the kids are yelling "are we there yet?" There are all kinds of travel games, from "I Spy" to license plate searching. In the early 1960s a Chicago firm developed a clever version of Auto Bingo. Complete with four separate playing boards, the game involves finding specific landmarks along the way, from a "wood pile" to a "post office." As landmarks are found, a square in the board is marked off. The first player to get five-in-a-row shouts "bingo," and wins the game. Travel games such as this are still popular.
