J.W. Spear & Sons, later Spear's Games, was an early printed board game maker which began in Germany in 1879, but built a plant in England during the early 1930s. The firm moved there before World War II, when the original plant was demolished. Spear's produced high quality games for sale both in Europe and for import to the United States. Little Chicks is a simple race game for the youngest children, with a simple and friendly farmyard theme.
